So Cal Fires and Nine questions

The fires here in Southern California are horrific. I could stand in my front yard and see the Santiago Fire burning the hills above Trabuco Canyon. When I look south I could see the sky glowing orange from the Camp Pendelton fires. The smoke is so intense that the district has kept the kids inside everyday since Monday. This would be all fine and good, but holy cow, its hot and stuffy and not so sweet smelling in those classrooms with a bunch of sixth graders. Last night we got a call from the District Superintendant saying that ALL of our schools are closed today due to the poor air quality and shifting winds. Kirt and I talked about whether or not his district would close too. Our guess was they would btu he would still have to work. I am very happy to report that at 6:30am this morning he walked back into the house and does NOT have to work today. Yeah! The photo above is of Lake Mission Viejo Tuesday night. My dear friend Lisa's daughter Courtney Briney took it and I must say, a piture IS worth a thousand words.
