So, last December I mailed out my sister's families gifts the day after Christmas. not becaue I was lazy and didn't want to mail them but because my nephew's gift didn't arrive from FAO Schwartz until the day before Christmas Eve. I ordered it at the end of November, it just took ages to get here. Anyway, last Friday I came home and found the same package (read big box) I sent to Montana on my porch all torn up and missing half of the address. The wrapping paper on one of the gifts was so torn that I had to take it off and re-wrap it. :( I got it all packaged up again and went to UPS the same day and shipped it from there. I even got free insurance for it and a tracking number. I will never again mail something through USPS again without a tracking number.
The funny thing is, a long time ago I opened my mail box to find a Christmas card in a plastic sandwhich baggie. It had ben mailed 7 years earlier. How the heck does it take 7 years for a card to travel 40 miles?

A really bad hair cut story...
I had nice, long, silky hair, it was wavy in the back and didn't really look bad. Until this morning :( I was wanting something a LITTLE shorter with some long bangs. I went with a nice picture of a cute haircut that would have looked really nice on me. The manager of the place is the one that cut my hair. I had her do it since the only other person there was a lady who told me the last time I was there that she wouldnt cut my hair the way I wanted it. WTH? So I just had it trimmed and layered a little.
Well, this time the manager had it at the right length at first, then started cutting more, and more and more. Heck, I HATE my hair. I feel like it added AT LEAST 20 years to my face. I am serioulsy conmsidering not seeing my freinds for months because I HATe my hair so much. Its embarrassing and at this point I dont think theres any way to fix it.
Even Mikey; who is bruatlly honest and cannot lie for the life of him, tells me I look like I might be in my 60's...can you feel my pain?
Tonight I am going to spend hours trying to find a way to style it so it doesn't look so ugly and old.
I am sorry to say, I refuse to post a photo of myself and will probably not be seen in one for the next 6 months until my ugly haior grows out.

Almost done!
My new "scrapbook room" is almost done. I am so excited and love how it's turning out. The space actually looks better with all the new stuff in it than it did as just our dining room. The neat thing is, we can still use it as the dining room at Thanksgiving since I didn't really take too much of the space away AND, its very clean and organised. Not so scrappy junky feeling. Photos are coming in the next day or two.
