MJ and I had some creative time together today. He wanted to crackle his bulletin board with red paint. Red is his favorite color. It started out very dark brown wood. We put the crackle medium on thick, let it dry, then went over with red acrylic paint. It didn't turn out the way I wanted it to, but he loves it; as you can see by the smile on his face, and that's what matters.
Now we just have to hang it up and make some really neat magnets.
Tomorrow we go back to school. Ugghh! I don't want to have to listen to homework woes. I don't want to have to deal with 500 kids. I just want to be home with my family and play, craft, read, watch movies, bake etc. Darn.
