POTD 47/365 Lego Sorting Happiness

Even though MJ loved his birthday gifts from us, I think he was a little disappointed that he didn't get bins to sort his Legos into. He would rather sort Legos than put them together. Funny thing is, I used to love sorting my things too. In fact, I still do. So I get his disappointment.

For Valentines day we gave him 10 Iris bins to sort into. He was so excited and had to get started right away. He spent hours and hours this weekend sorting his Lego's into colors. MD is giving him all of her Legos from when she was younger to sort too when he's done with his. He might be sorting for years. Not much of a dent was made in what he has, since he had to spend a lot of time taking stuff apart.

It's the little things, like sorting that bring the most happiness to my boy.

wow -- that's a lot of Legos!!! Maybe I'm lucky that I have girls, but then again, we have tons and tons of Polly Pocket shoes and shirts and stuff like that to deal with -- and they. are. tiny.

My son is just now getting into Legos and my Husband has a BOX full of them from when he was little! By the way, I love your blog! I am doing a 365 album this year and am taking a photo a day!
